No Surprises Act
Good Faith Estimate
Under federal law, you have the right to receive a written estimate of expected charges for medical care, including mental health care.
What is a Good Faith Estimate?
A Good Faith Estimate is a written explanation of the expected charges for a service you have not yet received. We provide one to all uninsured and self-pay clients before any non-emergency service.
How to request one
Email adejah@thepeopleplacecc.com or call (479) 321-2818. We will provide a GFE in writing within 3 business days of your scheduling.
Disputing charges
If your final bill is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill at www.cms.gov/nosurprises within 120 days.
